We know better over here in the States. It has been that hot for eons. No young children, pets or elderly to be left in a car with the engine running or not.
I think that happened from not realizing that these new heatwaves in Britain are dangerous and can kill.
Those police who left them in there probably will never forgive themselves and feel like the lowest of the low. I think it was an innocent accident. Global warming has arrived in Britain and we must be careful what and who we leave in our cars from now on, every summer. JW-

Actually, we know that here too. Its one of the reasons I asked whether anyone will be prosecuted. Such conduct is usually treated as a criminal offence.
